KI gets KO'ed [8:40 PM ET]

Killer Instinct, the Fox TV Series that Jessica had a small role in (for the first 7 episodes) has been cancelled. Not really a bummer for Jessica fans since she isn't on the show anymore, but I thought I would mention it anyway. Only 9 episodes had aired total with Jessica appearing in the first 7. The last episode aired this past Friday on December 2nd and apparently there are 4 unaired episodes left.

Jessica's Space Suit from Armageddon on eBay [12:00 AM ET]

Jessica's spacesuit from the 1998 movie Armageddon is now on eBay. The bidding starts at a whopping $4,000! On top of that is an 18% "buyers premium" that has to be paid (ouch!) Someone want to buy this for me for Christmas? Pretty please?? :-)

NCIS Episode Repeat [1:30 PM ET]

Jessica's latest episode of NCIS (titled "Mind Games") will be repeated this Tuesday, Dec 6th on CBS at 8:00PM ET/PT. Check local lists for the time and channel in your area.

Jessica's Final Killer Instinct Episode Airs [4:35 AM ET]

This past friday's episode of Killer Instinct (titled "Game Over") marks Jessica's final appearance on the show. Jessica appeared in the first 7 episodes including the pilot.

Left Behind: World at War now on DVD [4:35 AM ET]

The movie Left Behind: World at War (which Jessica has a decent sized role in) is now available on DVD. It can be found at most stores where videos are sold as well as www.amazon.com.

The MSNBC website has a preview clip from Jessica's new series "Killer Instinct" that premiere's this Friday, September 23rd on Fox at 9:00PM. The preview clip is a scene that Jessica is in. Some might find the scene a bit gross, so be warned.

www.epguides.com (a site that specializes in TV episode guides) has a Killer Instinct episode guide up which lists the first 14 episodes of the series.

Jessica on NCIS in October [2:45 AM ET]

As was previously announced, Jessica did another episode of NCIS. This new episode (titled "Mind Games") marks her 5th appearance on the series and will air on Tuesday, October 4th at 8:00PM on CBS.

Left Behind Bloopers [11:45 PM ET]

Cloud Ten Pictures now has up some behind the scenes video on the official website of their upcoming movie that Jessica has a part in titled Left Behind: World at War. Jessica appears in the blooper reel that is located on the websites multimedia page.

Fox has put up a webpage for the new Fall series that Jessica will be a part of titled Killer Instinct. There isn't much on the webpage at the moment, but it says to "check back for the full site." Jessica plays Dr. Francine Klepp in Killer Instinct, and the series is scheduled to premiere on Friday, September 23rd at 9:00PM ET/PT on Fox.

Cloud Ten Pictures now has up a website to promote their new movie (that Jessica has a part in) titled Left Behind: World at War (the movie was previously titled "Left Behind: World War III"). Jessica Does Another NCIS Episode! [1:30 AM ET]

Jessica recently worked on another episode of NCIS for the series 3rd season that premiere's this Fall. Jessica will once again reprise the role of Agent Paula Cassidy. This will mark Jessica 5th episode on the series to date. It appears that Jessica has a decent part in this one as opposed to those brief "via satellite" appearances she made in 2 of the episodes. From what I understand, the episode is titled "Mind Games" and is tentatively scheduled to be the 3rd episode to air this coming season, which should mean it will air on October 4, 2005. Of course, that date could change so stay tuned.

Homefront on American Life Channel [1:30 AM ET]

For those who get The American Life Channel, Jessica's acclaimed 1991-93 TV Series Homefront will start airing from the beginning (with the episode titled S.N.A.F.U.) starting this Sunday at 10:00PM ET. Check local listings for the time and channel in your area.

"The Gate" now titled "Killer Instinct"[2:25 AM ET]

The Futon Critic website in an article about the series formerly known as "The Gate" which was formerly known as "Deviant Behavior" is now saying that the series is now titled "Killer Instinct." The series is scheduled to premiere on Friday, September 23rd at 9:00/8:00c.

Jessica involved in some Deviant Behavior! [2:25 AM ET]

Yay! I finally get to use that title! Although I have known about Jessica's involvement in the pilot for this new TV series since late March, I couldn't say anything about it for a number of reasons until the time was right. But now that The Futon Critic mentioned in their preview of The Gate about Jessica being in the shows pilot, (and I have been getting a number of emails asking if I knew this) I guess I should post something. Back in early April, Jessica worked on the pilot for proposed Fox series that was then called "Deviant Behavior." The pilot was shot in Vancouver as well as in San Francisco (where the show takes place). The show (which since has been given a working title of "The Gate") was created by CSI Exec Producer Josh Berman and is a procedural crime drama about a police crime unit that goes after serial killers. Jessica plays the character Dr. Francine Klepp. Since then, the show has received the green light to become a Fall series on Fox on Friday nights at 9:00/8:00c. The Futon Critic states on their site that the show premiere's on Friday, September 23, 2005.

What The Futon Critic doesn't know (and I do) is that Jessica should be in at least the first 6 episodes of the series as well. Yay!

There isn't a release date set yet for the movie (probably later this year), but you can check out the photos now in the Photo Gallery!

More Jessica on DVD [11:15 PM ET]

A few more DVD's are being releated soon that contain episodes with Jessica in them. The first DVD is Outer Limits - Death & Beyond Collection which includes Jessica's Outer Limits episode "Essence of Life" and comes out on June 21st.

The next DVD is Nip/Tuck - The Complete Second Season which comes out on August 30th and should include an extra scene of Jessica's that got deleted from her episode which was titled "Kimber Henry". Click on the links above to order from Amazon.com.

Still Life on DVD [5:00 AM ET]

Speaking of Jason Gedrick and Jessica Steen movies, the movie Still Life that Jessica did with Jason back in 1989 is now available on DVD. You can order a copy from Amazon.com among other places. You may be asking, "Is this movie any good?" and the answer would be a resounding NO! It is pretty bad in fact. But hey! It has a fair amount of Jessica in it, so it can't be all bad. (NOTE: The picture of Jessica at the top of this page that is part of the "News & Notes" logo comes from this movie.)

Earth 2 Coming to DVD! [1:40 PM ET]

I am a few weeks late in posting this information so it probably isn't news for many people at this point, but anyway...

Fans of Jessica's 1994-95 TV Series Earth 2 will be happy to know that the complete series (which unfortunately was just one season) will be coming to DVD on July 19th. The DVD will most likely be found at most all major DVD retailers like Best Buy etc... Amazon.com has it listed on their site as well for pre-order. Two New Show Airdates [8:00 PM ET]

We finally have the airdates for two projects that Jessica worked on last year. The first is an episode of the ABC TV Series "Eyes" (the episode it titled "Shots") that will premiere on Wednesday, April 27th at 10:00 PM ET/PT on ABC.

The other is the TV Movie for USA Network's titled "Rapid Fire" that premieres on Tuesday, May 24th at 9:30PM ET/PT on USA with a reairing at 1:00AM. The movie will also air on Wednesday, May 25th at 4:30P and 2:00AM ET, Saturday, May 28th 5:30P ET and Sunday, May 29th 9:30A ET. I will add these airdates to the Calendar.

Jessica in the new Kojak Pilot [3:25 AM ET]

The pilot for the new Kojak TV series is currently airing on USA Network. Jessica has a small role in the pilot (she appears briefly in about 5 scenes). Check the Calendar for the airdates.

Jessica Gets Left Behind! [3:25 AM ET]

Jessica is currently working on the movie "Left Behind: World War III" which is the 3rd movie in the Left Behind movie series that are based on the Left Behind books. The movie is being produced by Cloud Ten Pictures who you may remember that also produced the movie "Judgment" that Jessica starred in. The movie started shooing on February 21st in Toronto so it might be a while before it is released. The movie stars Lou Gossett Jr., Charles Martin Smith, Kirk Cameron, Brad Johnson and others... Cloud Ten's website features a daily producers journal on the "Left Behind: World War III" production for those interested. More info later...

The 10th Anniversary! [1:25 PM ET]

10 years ago today I started The Jessica Steen Page when I was learning HTML and discovered Jessica when I was a fan of her 1994-95 TV Series "Earth 2". Hard to believe it has been that long! Back in early 1995 when I started working on the page, the Internet was a very different place. As I recall, most AOL users weren't even able to go on to the Internet at that time. Back then, I could expect maybe 5 to 10 people at most to visit the website per day. Now we can expect hundreds or more a day depending on what Jessica is up to. Times have changed since then, the Internet certainly has changed things, and I am sure there are many of us that have a hard time remembering life before the Internet. Or maybe before the Internet some of us had more of a life. Not sure. Anyway, the Internet has changed and I have changed somewhat. I admit I haven't had as much time over recent years to work on this site as I did in the early years. My priorities have changed I suppose, but I still enjoy following Jessica's career and plan to keep on doing this as long as there is interest.

I want to thank all the people from around the world who over the years that took the time to help me out with things like pictures, articles, news updates, and other information needed to run a site like this.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! [10:20 PM ET]

I wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a Happy New Year! Ok, so I am a week too late. Anyway, this is a special new year for The Jessica Steen Page as next month will mark our 10 year anniversary! Can you believe it! I know I can't. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this site over the years. This year we already have at least 4 projects of Jessica's to look forward to including the TV movie "Norco," and the movie "Chaos" as well as TV episodes for the series "Charmed" and the new series "Eyes". Check back later for airdates for these as we get them.
